Step-by-step:
How to get a gun in WA State.
Step 1. Before you order your gun (e.g. from an online retailer), text us at 1-657-229-5665 to see if your seller can ship it to us. We’ll give you the green light to receive the order. The gun may not be legal in WA, and it’s best to double check. Plus we may be out of the country (we do a lot of overseas mission work) when they try to ship it to us.
Step 2. Once your gun ships and arrives at our location, we’ll text you and coordinate a time for you to swing by (Enumclaw). We’ll then start on the WSP background check and paperwork. Here’s what most people need to bring to this appointment:
Driver’s License with current address.
Address not current? No problem, just text us 1-657-229-5665 and we’ll just need some extra paperwork.
Certificate showing you’ve passed an authorized Firearm Safety Training course.
Text us your certificate once you’ve finished: 1-657-229-5665
We’ll give you all the paperwork you’ll need to fill out. There will be questions like “are you a felon?” or “are you going to give this gun to someone else?”
Cost:
$42 Transfer Fee
$18 WA State Firearm Tax
Optional: 8.9% Sales Tax of the gun purchase (only if the seller didn’t collect it from you yet)

Step 3.
Wait 10 business days, which then the Washington State Patrol (WSP) will give the green light to release the gun to you.

1. Text us to verify if we can receive your gun: 1-657-229-5665
Example: “Hey Beau, this is Jared Smith from Enumclaw. I’d like to purchase a Glock 19 from GunBuyer.com and have it shipped to you for pickup. Are you available to do this within the next week or two?”
3. Go buy your gun. Example from Palmetto State Armory. Have the seller ship your gun to us.
Here’s our FFL license if the seller needs it. Some sellers already have us () in their system.
4. Set up an appointment with us so we can verify everything and do the background check.
